Renewed appeal following robbery in Boscombe

Officers continuing to investigate a robbery in Boscombe are issuing an image of a man they are looking to identify.

The incident occurred at around 3.30pm on Friday 24 October 2025 near to the owl mural in Ashley Road.

It is reported that the victim – a man aged in his 40s – was assaulted by a group of four men described as aged in their 30s and wearing grey tracksuits. His phone was stolen during the incident.

The victim sustained two black eyes and significant facial swelling.

Police Constable Francis Thorneycroft, of BCP Volume Crime Team, said: “I have now obtained an image of a man I am looking to identify and would ask anyone who recognises him to please get in touch.”
